Print Finisher

Are you hard-working, passionate and a committed team player?

Do you have previous print finishing experience and take pride in the work you do?

We’re excited to be able to offer these great new roles within our production team. We are a well-established print facility in Newcastle and we are looking to expand our finishing department. We want to find the right people with the right skills and knowledge to help us develop our current setup.

Your duties would include:

  • Quality control finished products for packing
  • Operate Adpak shrink wrapping machines
  • Hand Taping to produce folders
  • Set up and operate various drilling machines Citoborma 490/Soag
  • Operate Hohner hand stitching machine
  • Set up and operate Rhinotuff wiro machine
  • Hand collating and inserting
  • General Bench work and assist on folders and stitching lines if needed
  • Experience in the above would be preferred, however training is always provided

Requirements:

  • Able to produce accurate, final products to the highest standards
  • Committed to a culture of quality and be keen to learn
  • Comfortable to work both on your own initiative and to work as part of a team
  • Prepare to be flexible to meet the demands of the business
  • The ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Able to follow instructions on job sheets
  • Good numerical and organisational skills
  • Punctual with good timekeeping
